ALLOW ADDING UPCs TO EXISTING ASINS THAT WERE CREATED WITHOUT THEM
Suggestion to Amazon, please start allowing brand owner sellers to start adding UPCs to their existing listings that were intially created without UPCs, to allow us to start printing product labels with UPCs on them rather than tagging ASIN stickers to each bottle which is an extra cost and huge time consumer. Many of us sellers started small 5-6 years ago and our private branded products did not have UPCs at that time (if your like us you were selling direct to commercial customers and not retail, so no UPC was needed), now as we grow our retail presence, some of our biggest products were intially onboarded on to sellercentral without UPCs. If there was a way we could either update the product identifier to the new UPC we created, or allow two product identifiers -one will remian the ASIN and the other will be the newly created UPC- it would solve this issue. PLEASE CONSIDER troubleshooting this. Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback. I have made a note of this to the appropriate team, however do note that currently Amazon requires a UPC and if you do have one to add to the product you will need to request a GTIN Exemption.
