UPC Nightmares - Help Please
I am attempting to list products using GS1 UPCs but am getting an error because the parent company owns the UPC and not the brand. I have explained this and provided info and letters, and am still stuck after weeks of trying to get it resolved. Anyone have any suggestions? @Glenn_Amazon?

Hello @Seller_Ve1oyxgXsxGMC,
I'm sorry you're having trouble listing your products.
In order to have a better look into this, I'll need a little bit more information regarding which UPC you're trying to use. Please provide your most recent case ID from contacting Selling Partner Support, and I'll look into seeing what options exist.
Thanks and have a great day.

I have jumped through hoops to try to get it resolved, but I am currently just waiting.

Hello @Seller_Ve1oyxgXsxGMC,
Thanks for providing your case ID. I've reviewed the details, and see there has been a new update from the Support team 2 hours ago with more information they require. They said that the proof attached cannot be considered since it does not call out clear affiliation between brand and GTIN owner. They are asking for a proof of relation between the Brand & UPC/EAN owner as they were not able to establish any affiliation among them. They require a proof signed by the Brand/Manufacturer/Parent brand which states that, EAN owner “QCO” has permission to list the products of brand “Viking” with EAN/UPC “810166490023”.
Feel free to refer to this update, and let me know if you have any other questions.

@Manny_Amazon,
I am happy to get a letter. QCO owns the Viking company now, so this is very simple. I have many products that I need to create that will have this exact same situation. Is there a way to resolve that in bulk or resolve this brand UPC matching issue going forward so I don't ever have to deal with this again?

Hello @Seller_Ve1oyxgXsxGMC,
I would say that if you provide a list of the products in your case, you can request these to be processed in bulk and have the letter apply to all.
If you have the letter submitted through your case and still running into difficulties after their review, let me know and I'll look into it.
Thanks for your understanding.

@Manny_Amazon,
We provided the letter as requested and the rep asked for a different, though similar letter, which seems to be the one we sent last time. We are completely confused why the requests keep changing and are getting more and more confusing. QCO owns the UPC, QCO owns the Viking brand. My Amazon account is the registered brand owner for the Viking brand with Amazon brand registry. We have provided multiple letters giving any and all of this information. Can you please assist?

Hello @Seller_Ve1oyxgXsxGMC,
Thanks for letting me know. Your case is still open and the team last updated it 6 hours ago that they are investigating the matter. Please allow them the time to do the research and get back to you there.
