That sounds like the account owner has changed. On your place I would create a case and ask Amazon. Of course anything has to be verified from the beginning.

How do I update my tax information and legal business name?
To update your tax information, you must complete the U.S. Tax Identity Information Interview.
To update your legal business name:
- Go to Settings and click Account Info.
- Under Business Information, click Legal Entity.
- Enter your Legal Business Name and click Update.
