ALL FUNDS BEING HELD IN RESERVE

Requesting help. Since July 11th, our store funds are being held in reserve for no reason at all. We have been forced to place our store on "vacation" --hence no sales, as we cannot continue to sell and ship items, only to have Amazon withhold the funds we use for purchasing inventory, but more importantly, for payroll.

Account shows healthy. We have always had express payout every two days and now nothing. Occasionally a dribble of $200 or so, but the funds are being held with no end in sight.

We have contacted Amazon Seller Support 16 times, and each time they create a new case and "transfer" the case. To whom, we do not know; we have no reason to suspect our account is being worked on at all.

in reserve and I have a payment cycle coming up in a few days. My account is not new. I changed nothing. All of my cards are still active, MY account is healthy and in good standing. I am still making daily sales.

We have 16 "case transfers" in our Seller Manage Cases --and again "crickets" --no movement. No access to releasing all our funds so we can get back to business as usual. This is really distressing as we are purchasing now for the 4th quarter holiday season.

Can someone at Amazon look into this, and not simply transfer, and find out why our funds are not available to us? We have received emails from Amazon telling us the account is healthy, in good working order, and we have access to our funds - but we do not. it shows $0.00 available with several thousand dollars being held in "reserve." What is this?

We are not a new account, and have been selling for over 15 years on Amazon. Thank you so much for any help or suggestions.

Since June 6th here.

Healthy Account. On Amazon.uk since 2017. Zero performance notifications or emails.

I have created 5 cases, all "transferred" and unable to follow up or modify case as when it is transferred it is closed.

Case 9972282882

Case 9996444112

Case 10064065622

Case 10070097132

Case 10070319692

I received this canned email message after I sat on the phone for 80 minutes today to try to get an answer to why my almost 5K GBP was being held in reserve by Amazon. The reserve is purportedly for "any claims or chargebacks" after not having any reserve since 2020, (when it was only for 1 payment cycle). Btw, I have no claims or chargebacks...This time I'm entering my 5th payment cycle without having my money disbursed:

"Thank you for writing to us about the funds being reserved in your payments account.

Currently, only some of your funds are available for disbursement.

We typically reserve your sales proceeds until a certain number of days after the delivery date of an order to ensure you have enough funds to fulfill any refund requests from buyers.

To learn about this policy, visit "Payments based on delivery date":

https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/202124090

Your next settlement date is 2024-08-17. At that time, available funds will be transferred to the bank account on file. Within 5 to 7 business days, your funds should arrive.

The Payments department is unable to remove or override reserves held in your account. If you have available balance, you can request an On-Demand disbursement of your funds with Seller Partner Support.

If you have any questions, you can contact us at payments-investigate[at]amazon.co.uk.

Merchant Credit Team

Amazon.co.uk"

NOTE this gem:"The Payments department is unable to remove or override reserves held in your account."

NICE.

If I didn't know any better, I would say that this is a new way for Amazon to make interest income off the back of Seller earnings.

I am having the same exact problem. 8 emails to Amazon with the case being transferred to no avail. No one will tel me why all my funds are being held or when I may be able to get paid. My account is in great stansing. I've been selling on Amazon for 23 years. It makes no sense and I can't get anyone to help me.

This is really scarry as Amazon is my sole income for my family and has been for the last 23 years.
