UPC id required
I received an email months ago that a UPC code will be required for all handmade products. Products are handmade and do not have UPC codes so why is Amazon handmade requiring this?

I believe that only applies if you use FBA for fulfillment. In that case, you can purchase UPC codes for your products.

Hi there @Seller_yIcKRslNNN9SY,
Thank you for posting here at the forums. Also, shoutout to @Seller_ElNLVxVohDOit for providing some assistance here.
If this is regarding the 'New Listing Experience' You will now be required to provide a Product ID or to request a Product ID Exemption. Product IDs are part of a system of unique identifiers called Global Trade Item Numbers (GTINs). The specific GTIN required varies by category. The requirements of each category, including exceptions and exemptions where available, are summarized in the table on the Product ID (GTIN) requirements by category.
If your product does not have a product ID or GTIN, you can request a GTIN exemption. GTIN exemption is by product type, so you will only need to submit a GTIN exemption request once per product type. You can learn about requesting a GTIN exemption here.
Hope this helps,
Joey
