Amazon lost the content of a package but refuse to reimburse...
We are the manufacturer of a product that was send to Amazon on july 4th. July 16th, I received a text saying the package arrived at Amazon's facility RDU4.
It took 2 month to get any news. When I got one, on sept 21th, it was to say there was a -150 units discrepancy. So yeah, Amazon lost the content of the package.
So I tried to open an investigation. Since I'm the manufacturer, I provided exactly what was asked :
If you are the manufacturer, send a copy of the signed packing slip. The packing slip must include the following information:
- Packing list date
- Shipment or purchase order ID
- Product names of the missing items
- Quantity shipped
- Manufacturer signature or stamp
So I gave them 1 : the packing slip with everything on it and 2: I also provided a screenshot proving the package arrived at Amazon facility.
But the day after, I received this :
After a reviewing the attachment, we see that you are not brand registered with Amazon due to which we cannot considered the packing slip as valid.
In order to proceed with our review, you must provide a valid proof of ownership for the inventory that you've asked us to investigate.
What is that now? Why should my product be Brand registered? Also, is it not? We are Batbaileys Productions.
I really feel that whatever I give them, they are gonna ask for more. Why cant they just give the compensation?
