Use of fake or incorrect UPC codes

Hello,

@Dougal_Amazon@Jim_Amazon

A few listings in my store were removed from the Amazon catalog due to incorrect UPC code usage.

I learned that these UPC codes were incorrect after researching.

For example;

These UPC codes were created with brand X on Amazon. However, when I checked on the GS1 website, I found that these UPC codes belonged to brand Y. They closed my listings, Amazon is right about this, and I can understand this. Because according to Amazon policies, using fake or incorrect UPC codes is prohibited, and it is against the policies. These listings should have been removed from the Amazon catalog, and my listings were removed from the catalog.

However, I did some research on this issue and realized that different listings in the same category were created with the same fake or incorrect UPC code usage. I wrote about this issue on the forum, but they said I should start a new discussion.

Can you please create a case for this issue?

I can provide you with all the details and proof of incorrect UPC code usage.

I have reported policy violations on this issue many times, but they did not investigate and closed the file saying they could not detect a policy violation without doing any research.

Can you please help me with this by creating a case?

Hi there @Seller_9Uq3InsromYB4

I know we've talked on a previous thread about this. I unfortunately have no other place to take this issue as the team you are talking to within your case is exactly who we would escalate to.

That being said, I can see that support is asking for a bit more information. I recommend you reply to the case with the exact information in the same format they ask for it in. I know it's a bit repetitive but it may just help!
